Spyderco’s Para Military 2 is hands down one of the most popular, recognizable, and carried knives in the cutlery industry. The secrets to its remarkable design start with injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle scales. They also house a streamlined Compression Lock mechanism that further reduces the knife’s weight while locking the blade securely open during use.
