Modified to include state compliant features the newest M400-TREAD offers California citizens an update over the original compliant model with an improved forend and trigger. – Chambered in 5.56 NATO the M400-TREAD-V2-CA comes equipped with a 16 stainless steel barrel with versatile 1:8 twist rate. Additional standard features include a mid-length direct impingement gas system for smooth operation and reduced recoil along with an updated trigger the SIG 2-stage Matchlite DUO for improved accuracy. The M400-TREAD is also furnished with a free-floating M-LOK enhanced handguard for improved firearm control and for easily mounting accessories.
