The Griffin Armament GATE-LOK QD Blast Shield locks onto Griffin GATE-LOK muzzle devices and USGI-spec A2 compensators and directs muzzle concussion forward, which is most noticeable on short barrels.

It is TIG-welded 17-4PH stainless steel with a fluted body and Melonite QPQ finish. A shim set and over-travel stop washer are included to fit an A2 compensator. It is not compatible with the 30SD Flash Suppressor, 30SD Muzzle Brake, or BCM, BCE and PWS muzzle devices.
