Short answer: Precision Armament’s TiTrex line is a set of 3D-printed titanium suppressors with an exchangeable X-CORE and a serialized stainless XBand. The titanium body weighs 7.2 ounces and measures 5.9 inches, and Precision Armament rates it to .300 RUM with no barrel-length limit. As of November 5, 2026, three models are available to order from us: a 300Ti in Dark Ti, a 260Ti in FDE, and a 360Ti in OD Green.

What a TiTrex Is
Precision Armament builds the TiTrex around two pieces that stay together for the life of the can, but are not the same part. The baffle core is Grade-5 titanium (Ti-6Al-4V), 3D-printed by DMLS. The markings live on a stainless ring Precision Armament calls the XBand, made from 17-4 stainless heat treated to H900. That ring is the serialized housing. If the core is damaged or Precision Armament releases a newer internal design, the factory can replace the core without cutting or welding the serialized band.
Precision Armament calls that setup X-CORE Exchangeable Core Technology. The point is factory service, not a user taking the can apart on the bench. If Precision Armament charges a fee for an exchange or upgrade, its FAQ says the cost is one-third of the replacement suppressor’s MSRP. The serial number stays on the XBand either way.
The baffles are not a stack of matching cones. Precision Armament calls the layout NURBS, short for Non-Uniform Reconvergent Baffle Stack, and says the shape is modeled to control gas flow through the surface of the baffles themselves. Pew Science tested a TiTrex 300 and described those baffle cones as radially asymmetric and numerically optimized, which is why the can has to be 3D-printed.

On paper it is a light magnum can. The titanium body is 7.2 ounces and 5.9 inches long, 1.65 inches across, and Precision Armament rates it for .300 RUM with no barrel-length restrictions. The rear is HUB compatible. The front accepts Bravo-pattern caps. Titanium cores come in Dark Ti, Black, FDE, and OD Green Cerakote. Precision Armament lists the MSRP at $1,199.
Independent testing backs up some of the quiet claims. On January 28, 2026, Pew Science published test SSS.6.212 of a TiTrex 300 with the included direct-thread mount on a Savage Model 10 Precision Carbine, a 20-inch .308 Winchester bolt gun, using Federal XM80 149-grain ammo. Pew Science recorded a Suppression Rating of 44.3. That score is Pew Science’s composite rating, not a decibel reading, and higher is quieter. Pew Science also wrote that the TiTrex “represents one of the most optimized performance examples for length that currently exists,” and that first-round pop was effectively masked. We did not meter this can ourselves, and we are not lining that score up against a different test. The Firearm Blog’s Silencer Saturday #437, published June 20, 2026, reviewed the 300Ti on lightweight hunting rifles and liked it. It did not publish decibel numbers.
TiTrex Specs
These numbers come from Precision Armament’s TiTrex 300Ti page and the TiTrex spec sheet (Rev 10-07-2026), read on November 5, 2026. The titanium-core figures apply to the 260Ti, 300Ti, and 360Ti. This is not a test we ran.

Precision Armament also sells a TiTrex 300SD with an Inconel 718 core. That version lists at 11.4 ounces for the body, 12.2 ounces with a front cap or brake, and 13.4 ounces with the mount and front cap. As of November 5, 2026, we do not have a 300SD listing of our own.
Full-auto on the titanium cores is not a blanket yes. Precision Armament’s FAQ table breaks it down by caliber and barrel length. Light/Limited means short strings with cooling in between (Precision Armament gives 30 to 90 rounds in bursts or limited magazine dumps as typical use), not a sustained heat-soak schedule. Heavy/SOCOM is the harder duty cycle.
| Caliber (titanium core) | Barrel length | Precision Armament full-auto rating |
|---|---|---|
| 7.62/.308 | 14.5 inches and over | Light / Limited |
| 7.62/.308 | Under 14.5 inches | Semi-auto only |

The TiTrex Models We List
As of November 5, 2026, we list four TiTrex product pages. Three of those showed as in stock on the product page and are available to order. They ship from the warehouse, not from the shop floor, so check the UPC on the listing before you buy. We do not list a 300SD.
| Model | Caliber group | Color | UPC | As of Nov. 5, 2026 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| TiTrex 300Ti | .30 caliber and under, including 5.56, 7.62, and .300 BLK | Dark Ti | 810112082111 | Available to order |
| TiTrex 260Ti | 6.5mm and under | FDE | 810112082272 | Available to order |
| TiTrex 360Ti | 360 / 9mm group, up to .358 | OD Green | 810112082319 | Available to order |
| TiTrex 260Ti | 6.5mm and under | OD Green | 810112082265 | Out of stock |
The 300Ti in Dark Ti is the .30 caliber can most folks will ask about first. Precision Armament rates that bore for .30 caliber and under, from 5.56 and .300 Blackout through 7.62, on bolt guns and gas guns. If you want one titanium can for a .308 hunting rifle or an AR-10, this is the TiTrex we list for that job.

The 260Ti in FDE is the tighter-bore option, built for 6.5mm and under. That is the one we would point a 6.5 Creedmoor shooter toward if they want the smaller exit and are not planning to run .308 through it. We also list a 260Ti in OD Green. That page showed as out of stock on November 5, 2026, and we do not have a restock date to share.

The 360Ti in OD Green is the wide-bore can in the family. Precision Armament says it covers bolt guns and lever guns up to .358, 9mm pistols and pistol-caliber carbines, and AR-style rifles. On a gas gun, the larger bore is the trade for less back pressure. If you already own a 9mm PCC and also want the can on a bigger hunting rifle, this is the TiTrex we list for that mix.
Mounts and What Comes in the Box
Each TiTrex ships with a titanium 5/8×24 OPEN SOURCE direct-thread mount, a titanium universal front cap, the K-Brake ultracompact suppressor brake, and two universal wrenches. The rear of the can is HUB (1.375×24), so you can swap that included direct-thread mount for another HUB-compatible setup later. The front uses the SilencerCo Bravo pattern, which is why the included flat cap and the K-Brake both thread on, and why other Bravo-pattern front attachments will fit. If you want a plain-English walkthrough of direct thread, QD, and HUB, our suppressor mounts explainer covers it.

The included mount is 5/8×24, which matches a lot of .308 and 6.5 Creedmoor barrels. If your rifle is a different pitch, you will need a matching HUB mount. Precision Armament says it sells direct-thread mounts in other common pitches as well. The K-Brake is the single-port front cap. Precision Armament says it is meant to cut recoil without giving up much sound performance. You can leave the flat cap on if you would rather run it that way.
How to Buy One After October 9
The three available TiTrex listings above ship from the warehouse to a licensed dealer. If you are still comparing .30 cal cans, start with our silencers and suppressed firearms or the .30 cal suppressor comparison.
The buying process itself changed on October 9, 2026. In the ATF open letter that day, ATF said it would no longer require a Form 4, a tax stamp, or federal registration to buy a suppressor. You still buy it from a dealer in your own state, fill out a Form 4473, and pass a background check, the same way you would buy a rifle. You have to be 21 to buy a suppressor from a dealer (18 U.S.C. 922(b)(1)).
State law still controls. Some states still ban suppressors. In states that still require registration, the dealer route is a Form 3 to your receiving dealer and then a $0 Form 4 to you. ATF also still accepts a voluntary Form 4 if you want the can on the federal registry even when your state does not require it. That policy can change, so read it as enforcement guidance, not a repeal of the statute.
We have a Silencer Shop kiosk at the shop. Our guide to buying a suppressor after October 9 walks through the 4473 path, the Form 4 path, and how forms filed through us, including through that kiosk, are handled. Out-of-state orders still ship to a licensed dealer in your state.

FAQ
What is a Precision Armament TiTrex suppressor?
The TiTrex is Precision Armament’s 3D-printed titanium suppressor line, built around an exchangeable X-CORE and a serialized 17-4 stainless XBand housing. The titanium body weighs 7.2 ounces and is 5.9 inches long, and Precision Armament rates it to .300 RUM with no barrel-length restrictions. Titanium cores come in 260, 300, and 360 caliber groups, and Precision Armament lists an MSRP of $1,199. See Precision Armament’s TiTrex 300Ti page.
Which TiTrex suppressors do we list?
As of November 5, 2026, three titanium TiTrex models are available to order from us and ship from the warehouse: the 300Ti in Dark Ti, the 260Ti in FDE, and the 360Ti in OD Green. We also list a 260Ti in OD Green that showed as out of stock that day. Precision Armament sells a 300SD Inconel model that we do not list.
Is the TiTrex full-auto rated?
Precision Armament says yes, but it is application dependent on the titanium cores. On 7.62/.308, a titanium TiTrex is Light/Limited on barrels 14.5 inches and longer, and semi-auto only under 14.5 inches. On 5.56/.223 the split is 10.3 inches. Subsonic .300 Blackout and 9mm are listed as Heavy/SOCOM at all barrel lengths. See Precision Armament’s full-auto table.
Do I still need a Form 4 to buy a TiTrex?
As of October 9, 2026, ATF no longer requires a Form 4, a tax stamp, or federal registration to buy a suppressor. You buy it from a dealer in your state on a Form 4473 with a background check (ATF Open Letter). Some states still ban suppressors or still require registration. This is general information, not legal advice. Our guide to buying a suppressor walks through the rest.
If you are comparing .30 cal cans, our .30 cal suppressor guide lines up seven options we list, and you can browse the rest in silencers and suppressed firearms.
