Verified departments sign in to one account their whole team can use, with tax-exempt checkout, card or ACH payment, trade-ins, and shipping or delivery to the department. We also service and repair department firearms. Here’s who qualifies, how it works, and how to get set up.

Who can buy through our agency catalog?
The agency catalog is for public safety agencies and the folks who buy for them: police departments, sheriff’s offices, state and federal agencies, campus and school police, corrections, and fire/EMS. We check every request by hand before we turn an account on, so the catalog stays limited to verified departments.
What’s in the agency catalog?
It’s built around what departments actually issue: duty handguns, patrol rifles and shotguns, red dots and weapon lights, holsters and duty belts, magazine pouches, cuffs, and boots. Approved agencies see agency pricing after they sign in, and anyone on the account with buyer access can request a quote right from the cart.

How does a department get an agency account?
Fill out the request form on our agency portal with your department name, agency type, a contact name and title, an official email and a phone number. Adding your agency ID or ORI speeds things up. We verify the department by hand, then email you a link to sign in. Sending a request never creates an order.

How can our department pay?
Right now, agencies pay by card or ACH at checkout. Net terms are coming soon, and we’ll update this page when they’re ready. If your department has an exemption certificate on file with us, those orders check out without sales tax.
Do you handle tax-exempt orders?
Yes. Upload your department’s sales tax exemption certificate in your agency account. Once we verify it, your orders check out without sales tax for as long as the certificate is current, and we’ll give you a heads-up before it expires. In Alabama, government agencies are generally exempt from state sales tax on direct purchases (Alabama Department of Revenue).
How are firearms transferred to our department?
It’s your department’s call. We can ship to an FFL for transfer, do a Form 5 transfer to the department, or run a 4473 to the department, whichever way your agency handles it. We’re a 07 FFL / 02 SOT, so we can handle suppressors, short barrel rifles and other NFA items for agencies. NFA transfers to a government agency go tax-free on ATF Form 5 (27 CFR 479.90).
Some products can’t go to certain states. Check our state shipping restrictions before you order.
Can you ship or deliver to our department?
Yes. We can ship straight to your department, or bring the order to you in person within 100 miles of our Atmore, Alabama shop. That covers a good stretch of south Alabama and the western Florida Panhandle, including the Mobile and Pensacola areas.
Do you take department trade-ins?
Yes, we take department trade-ins. If your agency is switching duty guns or retiring old inventory, tell us what you have when you request access or get in touch, and we’ll work the trade into your order.
Do you work on department firearms?
Yes. We do gunsmithing, repairs and maintenance on agency-owned firearms, from duty handguns to patrol rifles and shotguns. Whether it’s one gun that needs fixing or a batch due for service, tell us what your department needs and we’ll put together a quote. See our gunsmithing services.
Can more than one person at our agency use the account?
Yes. The agency account belongs to the department, not to one person. The owner and agency admins can invite staff and give each one a role: buyers can order and request quotes, and viewers can browse the catalog without ordering. When someone changes assignments, an admin can switch their login off.
Who is Canoe Creek Armory?
We’re a firearms store and gunsmith in Atmore, Alabama, close to Mobile and Pensacola. We hold a 07 FFL / 02 SOT, meaning we’re a federally licensed firearms manufacturer with Class 2 Special Occupational Tax status. We sell online nationwide and in our store.
