The Glock G17 Gen6 is a full-size 9mm Luger pistol with a 4.49″ threaded barrel and an optic ready slide. It keeps the Glock Safe Action System and comes with three optic plates so a range of red dots can mount directly to the slide.
Gen6 changes are mostly about the grip. The frame adds a palm swell, an extended thumb rest and an enlarged beavertail, and the new texture blends two patterns over a larger surface. Slide serrations are cut deeper for a surer grab, the trigger is flat-faced, and the undercut trigger guard with a shorter reach to the trigger lets you get a higher hold. The polymer frame has an accessory rail and interchangeable backstraps.
